Hae Sung Chun is a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Peace and Unification Studies (IPUS) at Seoul National University. He received his B.A. in Public Law from the Seoul National University in 1987 and M.A. in Public Administration in 1996. Before holding this position, he served as a Vice Minister of Unification(2017.06~2019.05) and South Korean Chief of the inter-Korean Joint Liaison Office(2018.09~2019.05), etc. He has various experiences on inter-Korean cooperation and exchange. He had participated in the working-level talks between the undersecretaries of the North and the South. (2018 PyeongChang talks)
