연구분야 : 권위주의 정치, 북한 정치, 권위주의 사회화의 장기적 영향
서강대학교 정치외교학과를 졸업하고 동대학원에서 석사학위를 받았다. 2022년에 미국 노스 텍사스대학교에서 “Elite Management Strategies under Dictatorships and Their Determinants”로 박사학위를 받았다. 제32회 통일부 대학(원)생 통일논문현상공모 우수상, 제3회 국립외교원 (KNDA)학술논문상 최우수상을 수상했다.
대외경제정책연구원 (KIEP) 해외 한국학 지원사업 “남북한 화해협력을 위한 DMZ 내 인큐베이터 빌리지 제안”, 한국학중앙연구원 (AKS) 한국학 지원사업 “독재체제의 잔재와 유산: 탈북민 서베이”, 통일과나눔 남북통합 정책연구 지원사업 “남북 사회통합 대비 북한 사회의 핵심 균열요인 분석” 등에 참여하였다. 주요 연구업적은 다음과 같다.
